IDEA EXCHANGE 2017 – LUNCHEON FOR REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONALS

8/30/2017     9 am – 12:30  (CHECK IN AT 8:30 AM)

Join us as we gather our great network of Real Estate Professionals together for an Idea Exchange Luncheon at Northcreek Office Park, professionally managed by one of our CPM’s, Diane Dameron.

This event is special because we are also celebrating our IYP (IREM® Young Professionals) and if you Register TODAY you can bring a Young Professional in the Real Estate Management Industry for FREE*! Bring someone from your company whom you would love to introduce to our group and get them more involved in your organization.

*To bring a guest for free, the guest must be in the Real Estate Management Industry (Multifamily, Residential, Retail, Office, Medical, Industrial, Commercial, but not vendors) and they must be a Young Professional.

Idea Exchange luncheon:  An experience exchange event. This luncheon is designed to promote interactive discussion on Innovation, Challenges in the Workplace, and What Industry Leaders Look For in a Real Estate Professional. Each table will be made up of people with varying levels of experience, including executives.

  • Forward Thinking Strategies - Constant flux in the work environment requires increased awareness of upcoming change and different strategies than what worked in the past. This session will discuss what we MUST be doing now to make sure we are prepared for continued success. (Paul Mendel & Henry Baez)

  • IREM – What’s in it for me? How can I get the most out of my membership? Best plan to follow for me? What courses are available? How do I apply for scholarship assistance? (Karen Key and Deborah Westphal)

  • Leadership – The more unpredictable the environment is, the greater the need for effective leadership skills. This session will discuss the top skills leaders need now to excel and how you can get them. (Debbie Phillips)

  • Talent Management/Development –We have more knowledge and tools than ever to effectively leverage human capital, our most important asset. We also have unprecedented challenges. This session discusses how to use technology, neuroscience, culture, and personal interaction to structure talent management/development programs that allow workers to grow and thrive in this environment, while enabling us to meet business goals. (Sherle Brown & Melissa Hammond)

  • Time Saving Tech - Tips & Apps to Keep You Productive - Come ready to share your favorite tips and apps with the group.  Share your strategies so you don't fall into the dreaded multitasking mode or even worse...hyper-tasking.  What are the time suckers and what are the time savers? How are you using technology to support your busy schedule?  (Jonathan Saar)
