The New School and EpiCity Work Together for a Perfect Fit

The New School began classes in its newly renovated first floor space in November and will begin renovations on the second floor this summer. EpiCity was happy to help The New School find its permanent home on 655 Memorial Drive SE in Atlanta.

Director of Admissions & Operations and one of the three founders of The New School, Mary Campbell Jenkins, is pleased that the three-year-old school now has 4,500 square feet with its renovated first floor, and the soon to be renovated second floor will see the school double in size. The school was founded in 2014 and originally rented about 2,700-square feet at Inman Park Methodist Church.

Featured Organization: Vasculitis Foundation

This month’s featured charity was brought to our attention by Kori Stokes. Vasculitis hits close to home for Kori whose sister suffers from the condition. Vasculitis is rare, occurring when blood vessels become inflamed causing vessel walls to thicken and narrow. The inflammation restricts the blood supply to tissues and organs. To help the foundation Kori actively participates in awareness walks, fundraisers, and even once participated in a genetic study to help find a cure.

If you are interested in learning more about the foundation or the disease, please visit http://www.vasculitisfoundation.org/ or click the button below.

Thanks to everyone who supported the Lifecycle Building Center’s Revel in Reuse Fundraising Event and the Georgia Boy Choir’s Spring Soiree. They were both a great success raising more money than previous years and nearly doubling in attendance.
